Born 10.03.1923, Odessa – Died 02.05.1984, Simferopol. Painter. Honored Artist of the USSR (1964). Second World War participant. Graduated from the Odessa College of Art (1941). Graduated from the I. Repin Institute of Art in Leningrad, where he studied under R. Frents (1950). Lived in Simferopol (from 1954). Worked in the field of easel painting. Contributed to regional, republican, All-Union exhibitions and abroad. Works: "Primorsky Avenue" (1961), triptychs "Kobzar" (1964), "For the Land, for the freedom" (1967); "Still Life with Violin" (1973), a portrait of the artist Nyssa G. (1970) etc.
