About the artist:

Born 27.11.1927, Stalino (now Donetsk) – Died 2001, Donetsk. Painter, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (from 1970). Graduated from the Grekov School of Art in Odessa, where he studied under M. Todorov, A. Weksler and L. Muchnik (1955). Contributed to the regional, national and all-national exhibitions (from1954). Solo exhibition in Donetsk (1974). Worked in the field of landscape, still life and genre scenes. Main works: "Waterfront", "Winter Day", "The city is growing" (all in 1967); "Collective Farm Market", "Miners weekdays" (both in1968), sketches from the life of partisans (1944), "Partisans’ leisure time" (1967), "Porch in Gurzuf" (1987), "Winter Window" (1994), "Blue Morning "(1993-1995) and others.
