About the artist:

Born 21.09.1937 village Razdolnoe, Primorsky Krai, Russia. Painter, graphic artist, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (from1972), Honored Artist of Ukraine (1993), People's Artist of Ukraine (2003). Graduated from Krasnodar College of Art (1961). Studied under B. Gladkiy and B. Stashevski at the Donetsk School of Graphic Design, (1962-1966). Works in the field of easel painting and watercolor. Participates in national, All-Union and international exhibitions since 1966. Lives and works in Donetsk. Works: "Priluksky Monastery" (1966), "Donetsk Spring" (1968), "The city is growing," "Winter in Sedniv" (both in 1969), "The March Sun" (1978), "The Earth Breath" (1985) and "Ancient Hills" (1992) etc.
