Born 02 (15) 04.1883, city Krolevec (now Sumy region) – Died 29.01.1977, Vence, France. Painter, graphic artist and art critic. Member of the Union “The World of Art” (1917). Studied at the St. Petersburg, Moscow and Kiev Universities. Lived in Moscow (1908 -1918). Graduated from the Faculty of Biology at the Moscow University (1913). Received his art education in S. Svetoslavski Studio in Kiev (1905), at K. Yuon and I. Dudina Studios (1910-1911), P. Konchalovskiy and Mashkov Studios in Moscow (1911-1912). Immigrated to Turkey, Constantinople (1919). Two years later, travelling through Athens and Marcel, settled in Paris. Developed scenic method "tsvetodinamos" based on scientific understanding of the color perception nature. Worked in the thematic painting, landscape, and still life genres. Author of reports and articles on art. Contributed to many art exhibitions (from 1910). In 1920-1950 had one-man shows in France, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, USA and Canada. Works: "Red House. Istanbul "(1920)," Port Dodern "(1925),"Corsica"(1928),"Sailing Ship. Toulon"(1932)," Barca.
