About the artist:
Born 05.01.1925 village Dneprovokamenka, Dnepropetrovsk region – Died 2011, Dnepropetrovsk. Painter, member of the Union of Artists (from 1964), Honored Artist of Ukraine (from 1984). World War II participant. Entered Dnipropetrovsk College of Art (1938). Continued study under M.Panin and M. Pogrebnyak (1945-1947). Lived in Dnepropetrovsk (from 1954). Worked mainly in the genre of landscape painting. Participated in the regional, national, all-Union and international exhibitions (Japan, Italy, Greece, France). Works: "Warm Evening" (1958), "Fort Shevchenko" (1961), "Kos Aral" (1964), "Over the Dnieper" (1973), "Winter Fields" (1981) and others.
