Born 21.11.1920, Kiev – Died 09.12.1972, Kiev. Painter. Second World War participant. Graduated from the Kiev Institute of Art, where he studied under A. Shovkunenko and T. Yablonska (1951). Lived in Kiev. Worked in the field of thematic paintings and landscapes. Contributed to numerous art exhibitions. Works: "Construction of HPP" (1954), "Steeplejacks" (1960), "Portrait of writer Mikhail Tikhonov" (1963), "Blast furnace men", "Miners", "Hockey players" (all in 1960's), "Silence" (1972), a series of pastels created under the impression of traveling to France and Czechoslovakia, and others.
